What is my approach to meditation?
With 30 years of personal practice and more than 20 years of teaching, my approach to meditation centers on recognizing our deepest nature.
For me, meditation, in its most fundamental aspect, is an opening to a state of unconditional acceptance and effortlessness. In this letting go of control, our attention can open up, relax, free itself from its fixation on thoughts and perceptions, and embrace the totality of our experience in a state of detached and natural observation.
At that moment, when all effort and will fade away—even temporarily—we can discover what meditation truly is: the expression of our primordial nature. The meditative state then reveals to us the mystery and grace of our Deep Self.
The meditation class schedule:
- Classes are held on Fridays from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the yoga studio at Les Coqs Rouges, 14 Impasse Caillabet in Bordeaux; this session is streamed live on Zoom.
- Monday morning from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. — via Zoom only.
If you incorporate meditation into your life, it can become a very powerful tool for your personal growth and the evolution of your consciousness, helping to bring you back to who you truly are.

The mind is programmed to try to produce meditation through effort and concentration: it seeks to be aware of things, to be a witness.
On the contrary, true meditation is not the result of an activity; it is not something we do or can produce. Rather, it is a letting go of effort, an opening up to a state of total receptivity and detached observation in which our attention is freed from the content of our experience and opens up to deeper dimensions of our Being.
We can then naturally experience the pure Presence that we are. Our true nature as Awakened Consciousness can then fully reveal itself to us, allowing us to savor the qualities of peace, silence, wholeness, and kindness that are its essence.
As you settle more deeply into a state of effortlessness, consciousness is freed from the mind’s compulsive control, as well as from the resulting phenomena of contraction and identification. Consciousness then returns to its natural state of pure potentiality, to that abyss of silence beyond all knowledge

Meditation workshops
Non-dual meditation retreats and workshops are held in Bordeaux. They offer a rich and varied setting where you can rediscover inner peace and recharge through the experience of the oneness of your deepest nature. In the workshops, the focus is on true meditation—which is objectless meditation—and on recognizing our fundamental nature as Conscious Presence. Meditation sessions are often guided, sometimes including question-and-answer periods, as well as the occasional use of various meditation techniques.
